Where do I download your app?

You can download our app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Why go waterless?

There are many reasons to go waterless. According to the EPA, the average person will waste 150 gallons of water while washing their car themselves. The average stand-alone carwash will use over 38 gallons of fresh (non-recycled) water per car. It only takes 2-4 ounces of our solutions to clean an average sized car. Washing a car using traditional methods releases contaminated water down the storm drain and into the environment, causing pollution in rivers, lakes, and oceans. California is in a severe drought. There are water restrictions being placed throughout the state, with many counties completely banning residents from washing their own cars with water.

What’s included in a standard car wash service?

For an exterior wash: the car exterior including headlights, taillights, bumpers, and wheels are cleaned with our waterless Auto Wash solution. The windows and mirrors are cleaned with our waterless Window Clean solution. We then apply a light coat of our waterless Tire Shine to the tires.

For the interior, we vacuum the interior, carpets, and floor mats. We clean the door jams with our waterless Auto Wash solution, clean the windows and rearview mirror with our waterless Window Clean solution, and wipe-down the dash, steering wheel, console, and electronics with our waterless non-shiny Multi-Purpose solution.

Do I have to be present?

No, you don’t have to be present. However, if you requested you car’s interior to be cleaned, please arrange to open your car for the Wascher. You can also choose to leave your car unlocked and lock it up once the Wascher is done.

Can my car be parked anywhere?

Yes, our Waschers will come to you wherever you are. Whether you’re at home, work, the movies, or at the mall. However, your car cannot be parked on steep hills or too close to traffic. The car must be parked with enough space for the Wascher to freely and safely be able to move around your car. We can also wash the car inside of a garage, but please make sure that there is adequate lighting so your Wascher doesn’t miss a spot.

Do you provide detailing services?

Yes, we offer a detailing package which consists of our standard exterior wash (you can include interior cleaning as well) and full exterior clay bar and wax, all applied by hand using our high end detailing solutions. The clay bar removes imperfections from paint including surface and embedded contaminants, such as paint overspray, water spots, fresh tree sap, bird droppings, and light oxidation. The wax adds gloss, depth, and clarity to your paint while adding a layer of protection against the elements.

Do you provide scratch removal?

Not at this time. But in the future, we will offer scratch removal. Please check back again.

Do you cover my city?

We are initially launching in the San Francisco Bay Area. We will be announcing other US cities gradually in the coming year. Please check back for the list of cities we operate in.

I don’t see any Wascher’s nearby although it says you cover my city. What should I do?

We’re a new company with a lot of demand, and as such we can’t be everywhere at once, yet. If you can’t seem to find a Wascher nearby, please let us know and we’ll do our best to either dispatch someone out that way, or to make sure we increase staffing in your city.

What are your hours of operation?

Our hours of operations are from sunrise to sunset. The app will not allow you to request a wash outside of our hours of operation.

Can I schedule an appointment in advance?

Not at this time. In the future, we may allow for scheduling of appointments.

Can I schedule regularly scheduled appointments?

Not at this time. In the future, we may allow for setting up regularly scheduled appointments.

Can I book multiple car washes?

Yes, within our app you can select one or more of your cars to be washed. For each car you select, you will be able to pick the type of car wash you want, whether it’s an exterior wash or include the interior as well.

When can I expect my Wascher to arrive?

Within the app you will be able to see how far Wascher’s are from you before you request one. Once your request has been accepted and confirmed, you will be able to track the Wascher while he is in transit and get his estimated arrival time. You will also be notified 2 minutes before the Wascher arrives to your location.

Does my car have to be in the shade?

No, but for best results, please do park your car in the shade if possible.

Can you wash very dirty cars?

Yes, we can. However, if you car is covered in mud or snow, you have to rinse it off before your Wascher arrives. If the car is not rinsed off, the Wascher will decline to clean the car and you will be charged a cancellation fee. It is better in those situations to wash your car at a traditional carwash.

What if I’m not satisfied?

We pride ourselves on the reliability of our certified Waschers and the quality of service they provide. In the rare case that you are not satisfied with the service, please contact us at support@getwasche.com and we’ll do our best to remedy the situation.

What if it rains after I just had my car washed?

Because our products actually polish and protect the surfaces of your car, the water beads right off it! Just take a chamois and wipe the water droplets off.

The Products

How does your product work?

Our proprietary waterless products are made with organically derived biodegradable ingredients, including wetting agents, lubricants, and protectants. The detergents and wetting agents in our products combine to soften and emulsify surface grime, while a specific blend of fluids and lubricants attach a microscopic layer of protectant to the surface. This layer protects against any remaining abrasive not broken down by the detergents and wetting agents. The emulsification process surrounds the dirt molecules and “lifts” them off your vehicle before they are wiped off with a high-grade microfiber. At the same time, the application process initiates the cross chain polymer linking process that results in a shiny and highly protective glaze finish. All of this happens very rapidly due to the balance of ingredients within the products themselves.

How is your product different from others?

Most other waterless products in the market contain petroleum distillates such as kerosene or alcohol. Our products are made of organically derived ingredients, which are safe for all the surfaces of your car and safe for the environment. In addition, other waterless products use a single solution for cleaning the exterior paint, windows, interior, and tires. We have separate products that were carefully engineered and perfected for each of these surfaces for better results.

Are you sure your product is safe to use on my car?

Yes, we really are sure! Our proprietary waterless products have been extensively refined over the last 10 years to “lift” the dirt off your car’s surfaces without causing any swirl marks or marring. Our products are safe to use on all surfaces of your car: exterior paint, glass, mirrors, chrome, rubber, plastic, vinyl, wheels and trim, interior plastic, and wood. Our products have been proven safe by several high-end car manufacturers and are using them in their service centers. Also the application process itself does not involve high pressure or extensive rubbing.

How can I see a demo of your product in action?

We’re car enthusiasts ourselves and regularly host and attend gatherings to demonstrate the products on owners cars. Come visit us at the next event, posted on the Events page of our website. www.getwasche.com/events and watch the magic our Wascher’s can do.

Is your product safe for the environment?

Yes, our products are eco friendly and biodegradable. All the ingredients in them are organically derived. They have been certified to be safe for the environment as well as safe for the people who use it. Being exposed to them will not cause any eye or skin rash nor breathing disorder as traditional chemical based products can. As such, you can even have your car washed in a garage.

Can I purchase the product from you?

No, our products are not for sale.

Can I request you clean my car with my own supplies or with water?

No, our Waschers are not allowed to use water or other products in the cleaning process. If your car is mud or snow covered, you could rinse the car yourself with water before your Wascher arrives.

The Waschers

Do your Waschers go through a background check?

Each of our Waschers has gone through an extensive screening and hands-on product training/certification. They have also passed a rigorous background check process, which includes: SSN verification, national crime list, county criminal lists, sex offender list, and terrorist watch list.

Can I request a specific Wascher?

No, you cannot. All our Waschers are highly trained and certified to use our products. Their ratings can be viewed in the app. Your request will be forwarded to the Wascher nearest you.

Can I tip your professional?

That's entirely up to you. You are welcome to tip your Wascher in cash if you feel they deserved it.

Can your Wascher move my car?

No. Our Waschers are strictly prohibited from moving or driving your car. The Wascher can refuse to perform the service if you car is parked in a tight spot or on a steep hill for example and you cannot move it yourself. Please make sure to park your car in a safe area and with enough space to allow the Wascher to move freely and safely around the car. You cannot ask the Wascher to move the car.

Can I request your Wascher to jump-start my car?

No. As much as we would love to help, we are not an emergency road service company.

Can I request your Wascher to pick up a pizza on the way?

LOL… Our Waschers are not allowed to run errands on their way to your location. There are on-demand services like ours for every type of service you could imagine. Please use those.

Can I rate my Wascher?

Yes, of course. After the Wascher logs your car wash complete, you will be able to see pictures of your cleaned car. You can rate the Wascher and leave feedback immediately after the wash, or do it later after you had a chance to see your car.

Pricing & Payment

What is the cost for a car wash?

Our exterior car wash pricing is based upon the size and type of vehicle as per the NHTSA:

— $25 for small to midsize cars
— $30 for small to midsize SUVs
— $35 for large cars, SUVs, trucks, or vans

An additional $10 is added to any vehicle if you'd like the interior cleaned as well.

If you opt for exterior detailing, there is an additional $105 charge above the cost of your wash.

What is peak pricing?

In times of high demand, you may see higher than normal prices. Because our Waschers’ limited availability, we may charge extra to pay the Wascher for distance travelled during peak times. Choose a different time to avoid peak pricing.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as the Wascher logs your car wash completed.

Do you accept cash or checks?

No, we only accept major credit and debit cards from American Express, Master Card, and VISA.

How do I dispute a charge?

To file a claim or complaint, please contact our Customer Support Team at support@getwasche.com.

Can I trust your Wascher to do a good job?

We pride ourselves on the reliability of our highly trained professional Waschers and the quality of service they provide. In the rare case that you are not satisfied, please contact us at support@getwasche.com and we’ll be happy to help.

Are you insured?

We carry a $1M General Liability and Garage Keepers policy protecting you, others, and your vehicle. The policy supports up to $300,000 per incident.

What should I do if my car is damaged?

In the rare case that something goes wrong, we'll help you resolve the issue immediately. Please contact us at support@getwasche.com.

What should I do if something is missing from my car?

Upon using the Wasche app, you must agree to our terms and conditions. Wasche is not responsible for anything in your vehicle. As such, we recommend that you remove any valuables from your vehicles prior to ordering a Wascher.

How do I file a claim or complaint?
